The International Animated Film Centre, the organizing association for the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market, is happy to be once more associated with a new edition of the China Cartoon Industry Forum & Changsha Cartoon Art Festival 2005.

　　We truly hope that these events, through their association and synergies, will be a platform of exchanges, from which can emerge the new future tools of expression for the growing creativity in the field of animation of many gifted Chinese young directors.

　　We are very happy to be able to put forward this selection of films, which illustrates very well the great artistic and cultural diversity of the animated production in a large range of countries, with a special spotlight on French animation.

　　Looking forward to welcoming representatives from China to Annecy for the 2006 edition, which brings together artists and professionals from all fields of the animation industry, we wish you successful events.
