The International Animated Film Centre, the organizing association for the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market, is happy to wish the best success to the China Cartoon Industry Forum and the Dalian International Digital Festival 2004.

　　We truly hope that these events, through their association and

　　synergies, will be able not only to transmit the industry policy, provide the market information and the industry development situation, show the most advanced digital technology and interactive products, and the highest arts & technology level of digital cartoon, but will also be a platform of publicity, information exchange, and trade cooperation, for merchants both in home and abroad.

　　From these exchanges can emerge the new future tools of expression for the growing creativity in the field of animation of many gifted Chinese young directors, a creative force which is able to show its talents in films using traditional techniques or new technologies and often a skilful mix of the two.
